In 2019 I took a lap around the globe. We went from Paris, to Egypt, to Tanzania, to India, to China, and to Argentina. I had been meaning to make this book since the day I returned to Minnesota that December. I’ve started and stopped and started and stopped more times than I can count, making empty promises to myself and others that each year was finally the year I’d get this thing done. And I’m happy to share it with you.

You could say that this book is my life’s work, up until this point that is. I’ve never poured more of myself into something, and truthfully these pages contain my best photography to date. It’s made of 185 pages of what I saw on the adventure of a lifetime with a handful of mostly silly stories of what we were up to for those four months.

A lot has changed since I took these photos back in 2019. But in some ways nothing has changed at all. The places in this book are still around today, although they likely look a bit different. And you’re still around today, and I hope you’re a bit different too.
